Redcliffe Festival, the biggest event celebration to hit the Moreton Bay Region is back in 2017 for three massive weekends of events from 26 August to 10 September. Redcliffe Festival boasts a dynamic program of free and ticketed family-friendly events, a stunning array of musical entertainment, the largest fireworks display in the Moreton Bay Region, and the Ultimate Kids Weekend at KiteFest 2017, all held across multiple sites across the entire Redcliffe Peninsula.

 

If you thought the Redcliffe Festival 2016 was big – wait until you see what’s in store for 2017!

 

In 2017, Redcliffe Festival’s popular program returns featuring the Ultimate Kids Weekend at Redcliffe KiteFest, Legends Lunch, What’s Cooking in the Gardens?, Jetty Fiesta, Redcliffe Remembers, and Scarborough Sounds to celebrate Father’s Day 2017.

Explore the Redcliffe Peninsula

Explore the Moreton Bay Region on foot or by bike this Summer!. Participants can experience a variety of free and low cost walking and cycling activities that will set you navigating our diverse region. 

Participants can choose from a range of Cultural, Eco and Active Recreation walks and events, as well as a variety of cycling adventures. 

Activities have been designed for involvement by adults, families and the whole community. You can find Activities and sights to see from the following side links to the Moreton Bay Regional Councils website or even visit the Tourist Information Centre located at the Redcliffe Pier.

Picnic Hill

The long awaited PICNIC HILL is finally here! Opening on 8th July 2016, Picnic Hill will provide the whole family with some of the best local food trucks, market stalls and performers around!


On the second Friday of every month, Picnic Hill will be located on the Corner of Oxley and Anzac Ave. With plenty for the whole family, Picnic Hill boasts as a family friendly festival with Brisbane’s best food trucks including the likes of ‘Jaffle Shmaffle’ and ‘Bone Lorry’, street performers including live music and live street art, market stalls as well as lawn games the whole family can enjoy.


Also, for beer lovers or for those who just appreciate a cold beer on a Friday afternoon you’re not forgotten, the team at ‘All Inn Brewing and Co’ are showcasing some of their finest craft beers as well as a their full range of full flavoured ales for people to enjoy.


Picnic Hill started as an idea formed by the team at the Redcliffe Youth Space Centre ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work Program’. This programs aim is to educate young people in business skills and thus ‘Picnic Hill’ was created as an event run by the ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work Program’ Redcliffe Youth Space team.


Entry to the festival is a gold coin donation to which as stated by the ‘Skilling Queenslanders for Work Program’ Coordinator, Kelly Raedler, “all profits from Picnic Hill will be donated directly towards supporting at risk Moreton Bay youth”.
